As I’ve mentioned in my previous articles on Disney’s PhotoPass service, one of the benefits of PhotoPass that other, similar sites are missing is the ability to upload your own trip photos, taken with your own camera(s), and apply digital frames and other enhancements. Today I offer up the final installment highlighting these enhancements.
As in the previous posts I’ve taken a single photograph and added every available digital photo enhancement from DisneyPhotoPass.com and, once again, the original, unedited picture is the first shown (above). One thing to keep in mind even before heading for your favorite Disney park is that in order to take advantage of the online editing your photos need to be very high resolution. Mine were 640×480 and could not be modified on-site, other than adding the frames and enhancements. Without further adieu, here are examples of all of the available options-

As you can see, the options are much more limited when dealing with your own uploaded pictures, but compared to the offerings from other amusement park companies (read: none) they’re still pretty sweet. They also offer printed copies of your enhanced photos for only $0.49 per 4×6 photo. We ordered eighteen copies of our own pictures at the same time as the PhotoCD (on the evening of August 25th) and the prints arrived via regular mail a few days later. In the next few days I’ll be posting up those photos as well.
