Amusement Park Ride Photos

I received this great turn of the (last) century souvenir tintype today by way of eBay. It’s pretty worn, but it is roughly a hundred years old, so that’s not a major complaint and I purchased it for only a few dollars. Although the picture itself is not marked in any way, the fold-out has the following printed on it-

According to the seller – “This photo originated from a Central Missouri estate,in the Clark,Sturgoen,Macon area.”

I love these older photographs because it’s simply fun to imagine people dressing so formally in order to ride roller coasters
