Gate Photos – Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
Although both Zaira and I had a blast at the carnival last night, it didn’t fully scratch our itch for either rides or park photos, so we headed off for our first 2008 visit to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom the following day. We’re finally getting into our heads to stop for a gate photo instead of running straight into the park and I believe this could actually be our first official entry photo.
Of course, I’m seldom satisfied with the generic photo so I after our trip I visited MySixFlagsPhotos.com to check out some better borders and alternative shots-
The first thing I noticed on the site (and I’m sure regular readers have already noticed as well) was the choice of a new digital frame for 2008. It’s actually more of a border than a frame, but I definitely like it, especially on the horizontal picture. This border wasn’t even offered to us at the park and was only available on non-ride photos online. My only real concern is that the full digital frame with the characters was only available on the gate photos, not the character photos which has me concerned that it may be going the way of the dodo.
