Amusement Park Ride Photos

Zaira and I decided to end the year with an update of the photo that started it all 30 months earlier – the Giant Dipper at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Besides it would allow us to add another special souvenir to one of our other ever-growing collections: a Boardwalk wristband with 365 emblazoned on it. Comparing the two phootos is really quite amazing. in the first one Z seemed to be enjoying hersel, but still pretty hesitant to raise her arms like her Dad and really go with the ride, while in this one such a feat is clearly old hat.

It’s also pretty amazing how tiny she was a mere two and a half years earlier, when her head barely reached up to my armpit while now we’re crowding each other both on the seat and in the air
