Amusement Park Ride Photos

On January 3, 2007 Disney transformed their California Screamin’ roller coaster into Rockin’ California Screamin’ by adding the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Around The World as part of the “Rockin’ Both Parks” campaign which ran until mid-May. Space Mountain was similarly transformed into Rockin’ Space Mountain. Of course, you can’t change the name of a coaster without changing the ride photo’s digital frame, so they made some modifications to that as well.

OG, from TheShortPage.net, and her sister Caron visited Disney’s California Adventure to celebrate Caron’s 50th birthday and posted this picture of their ride on Rockin’ California Screamin’. Here’s what OG had to say-

March was a Fun Month, My sister and I Went to disneyland for her 50th birthday we spent 2 days there, Which was great!! we had a blast, we met a group of singles and visited with them for awhile them we shopped, went on rides and really had fun, we did a Disney tour. And got a park hopper Pass to go into both parks. Caron Hadn’t been to Disneyland in about 20 years, Caron had also never been to California Adventure so we spent several hours there. She loved Soaring and California Screamin, and of course the water rapids rides where we got so wet!!
Well she had so much fun we are going back in May for 3 Days

They weren’t the only ones to post pics though! Charmene of Everything is 3D Blasphemy also visited Disney’s California Adventure along with her boyfriend (that’s them in the back seat). Here’s her comments on the ride-

oh man it wasn’t even scary..but it was FUN. california screamin’ is the ride.

The Disney community seems pretty much split along age lines as to whether the Rockin promotion was a good one. No real surprise there.
